Support Services Mental Health Support Worker | Female Only (Part Time)

Have you got experience in healthcare and are currently seeking employment?

Fosse healthcare are looking for a part time female support worker to provide support for our female client with down syndrome and learning disabilities. The shifts would consist of 5 hours a day Monday to Friday and you would be assisting our client in the day center that she enjoys attending.

Responsibilities :

• Promote and encourage independence when possible
• Support with meal times by cutting up food
• Accurate record keeping
• Provide personalized support tailored specifically to our client
• Assisting with personal care is required, when out in the community our client will need help utilizing the toilet
• Ensure that our client is safe and feels supported

• Experience around down syndrome is desired but experience with learning disabilities is a must

Requirements :

• A UK driving license is a must
• Experience in healthcare, preferably learning disabilities, is a must (at least 1 year experience)
• Desire to support our client to enable her to live their best possible life
